  3. also, isn't it funny how the entire movie's tone is mellow and contemplative until the last 20 mins when a super-long whacky & zany car/horse chase explodes out of nowhere? 3/4ths of the film is almost Masterpiece Mystery a-la late 70's and then BAM!...Canonball Run with lesbianism.
